Carol Ann Borthwick Daugherty, 83, died Wednesday, August 31, 2016.

Carol was a native of Lorain, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Tom P. and Elizabeth J. Borthwick.

She is survived by her children and spouses, grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Tom (Kristy) Stanfield of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina; Linda (Rick) Hallett of Peoria, AZ; Barbara (Kevin) Bushnell of Roanoke,Virgina; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren: Rick (Deb) Hallett and Kayleigh, Brian Hallett, Jennifer Stanfield and friend Telly Shearer; Ashley (Joshua) Powell, Kara (Josh) Cundiff and Tyler and Kylie, Dawn (Brian) Blount and Nathan, Evan and Maeve; Judith Bushnell and boyfriend Kevin Diomedi, Elizabeth (Tony) Phillips, and Drake (Amy) Bushnell.

The family would like to thank special friends, Marilyn and Howard Hale, and Josie Abbott for all their love, care and concern for Carol. Also, to Liberty Commons, thanks for the care that you gave.

On Wednesday, September 7, 2016, the family will be receiving friends beginning at 6:30 P.M. followed by Memorial Services at 7:30 P.M. in the Chapel of Askew Funeral and Cremation Services with Minister Bane Angles officiating.
